The story
Where we are

Same family, two time zones.

We are from Libya, and these days we live on opposite sides of the world: one of us in Europe, the other in East Asia. Between the two of us, someone is always awake, which turns out to be useful when your creators post around the clock.

We started as clippers ourselves. Two brothers, both still students, cutting clips for other people's channels between classes. At some point we asked each other: why be the clippers when we could run the clippers? And why not do it for Muslim brands, since no one else was. That became Muslim Clippers. Big clients came. Then, Arab founders began asking if we could do the same in Arabic, and we built Arabic Clipping for them. It grew faster than the first one, and somewhere in that growth we drifted away from the thing we had started for the Ummah.

Early on, the difficult part was that we were delivering real views and most people did not understand what they were looking at. That has changed. Right now there are so many Muslim founders building things worth building, and so many Muslim creators with the right content, and almost none of them have distribution behind it. Hira is us going back to where we began and building it again, bigger and with the message right this time, for Muslim brands and creators only.

We work together the way any two co-founders do, except that at the end of the day we are brothers. He will always be there for me and I for him. Which makes some things easier and a few things harder.
